Your Perfect Boyfriend
This week on #3waystyle I decided to style these boyfriend jeans 3 different ways. These are the first pair of boyfriend jeans I have ever owned. In the past few years since they have been “in” I have never found a pair that I actually like. They were either too tight to give the actual boyfriend look or too loose and looked frumpy. I had been eyeing Mother Denim for quite some time but I refuse to pay over $200 for jeans. I had heard such great things about Mother jeans and I was so excited when I found these babies on sale. They are tight in all the right places (the butt!) but still have the loose “lived in” feel through the legs. The best part is that they don’t stretch out after wearing them. I have yet to wash these (because I’m lazy and rarely wash jeans) and have been wearing them for weeks yet they have not lost their shape. These are a little high in price (even on sale) but I promise they are worth it. These are a size 25 (I’m usually a 25/26) for reference so I’d say they fit true to size. Hope you enjoy these 3 very different looks!
Similar Sweater / Boyfriend Jeans / Similar Boots / Clutch / Lip Color
This look was my favorite of the three. I felt so pretty in this ivory sweater. I’ve mentioned it PLENTY of times but there’s nothing I love more than an ivory sweater and this one from Gypsy Jule Boutique in Raleigh is just so comfortable and baggy, yet still flattering. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to pull off the rolled up jeans and boots look but it’s so cute! It turned out way cuter than I thought it would and I am here to say if I can make it work so can you. These boots are Zara from last year but I love the ones I linked and they are a great deal. This lip color is my go to nude. It makes me look somewhat sickly but I still like it. Although both this sweater and jeans were over-sized this look somehow worked. I wore this to dinner so it was very convenient when I had to unbutton my pants at the restaurant and the sweater covered it up! This look is easy to recreate and I encourage you to try it!
Tee / Bralette / Jeans / Similar Boots / Glasses
Last weekend we traveled to Raleigh for a friend’s birthday. We had a great time with old friends then Kyle and I had the whole next day to explore where we used to live. We walked around downtown and it was so fun to see how it has changed in the past 2 years since we moved away. I wore something easy and comfortable for walking around. I am constantly on the look out for the perfect tee shirt. I stumbled into Buckle the other day. After FIRMLY telling the poor sales girl that I was not interested in trying on their damn jeans I continued my search for a basic tee. I have been fawning over White Crow online and decided to try this tee and I’m hooked. This is a medium because I like my tees really loose. I just love the fit of it and I’ve already ordered a few more to wear to work with jeans. Then I found this bralette. I am OBSESSED. I had been wanting to try the whole front design bra trend but hadn’t found one yet. This one was a decent price and I thought the copper color was both different and versatile. I got a ton of compliments on it and I can’t wait to wear it again.
Tank / Jeans / Similar Necklace / Converse
Last but not least this easy jeans, tank, and Converse look. If you don’t have a pair of cons (especially white ones) get it together and order a pair now. I have been wearing them non stop since middle school and they have never done me wrong. Boyfriend jeans and Converse were a match made in fashion heaven. This necklace unfortunately sold out over the summer but I love the way it hangs down, I linked a similar one that will give the same look. This is a look that I can wear to work throughout the fall (okay maybe without my midriff showing) and last all day in. So easy and comfortable but still cute.
I honestly love these jeans and hope you grab some boyfriend jeans this fall to create your own looks with. Hope you enjoyed this #3waystyle and also hope you have a great weekend!!
