Graphic Materials
I am ALWAYS on the look out for a good, vintage feel, graphic tee that I can live in. I have a tie dye Bob Dylan tee that I got from his concert a few years ago. If I’m at home, I’m most likely wearing that tee shirt. It’s faded and torn, has 2 cigarette burns in the sleeves (I don’t smoke so still have zero idea how they got there), but I love it and it is the most comfortable item I own. Only problem is Kyle won’t let me wear it in public, and I have to agree. So hence my search for a “cute” vintage feel tee that I can wear out of the house and create an outfit around. That’s when I stumbled on Dazey LA on Instagram. Some of my favorite bloggers had been donning their tees so I looked them up. The bad ass chick designer behind these perfect tees creates the designs by hand and is just simply adorable. She has a new line coming out that I can’t wait to order when they become available. They are the perfect fit and so damn soft I sleep in them nightly (then wear them to work the next day – shhh). I bought these two tees the day before they went on sale AND the day before she came out with the new line which is again the story of my life BUT they were worth every penny. In this week’s #3waystyle I styled the two graphic tees I bought for 3 totally different looks. Enjoy!
T-Shirt / Sweater / Jeans / Boots
I wore this look to our favorite bar in Downtown Wilmington one Sunday night. Little Lou got to go too because it was her birthday! I always say that I’m a “jeans and tee shirt kinda girl” but what I really mean is I’m a “jeans, cute tee shirt, wedge booties, and pretty sweater” kinda girl. I could wear variations of this outfit everyday and be content. I found these jeans from another blogger through Like To Know It and I am in LOVE. The price tag is somewhat high for a pair of Levi’s but they are so worth it. The perfect high-but-not-too-high waist fit. I just recently ordered them in a different wash. A great pair of under $100 jeans all around. I also live in this sweater. I throw it on at night when it’s chilly in our house and it is so comfy and cozy!
Tee Shirt / Skirt / Booties / Watch / Similar Bag
This look was my favorite of the 3 because I am so into skirts for fall at the moment. There are so many different ways to style an A line skirt like this but this casual look is the easiest. I felt cute and put together in this look but it wasn’t too over the top. I also love mixing and matching colors and there is a lot of that going on here (maybe a little too much?). This little bag was a feminine touch, and I adore the $20 one I’ve linked above. This watch is also a new favorite accessory of mine. It is masculine but works well with my plethora of bracelets I insist on wearing and can be dressed up or down. I am slowly turning into a watch collector and this wooden watch is a unique addition to my small collection.
Tee Shirt / Jeans / Jacket / Shoes
This tee is also a Dazey LA favorite. I love the bright colors and I decided to tone it down a bit with my leather jacket and jeans. My best friend asked me if I had fringe on my tennis shoes and I said of effing course I have fringe on my tennis shoes. I’m a huge Vans fan and when I saw these Vans mocs I couldn’t resist. They come in such pretty fall colors but this bone color spoke to me. They are so fun to wear and add just a little something to each outfit. This look was super easy and comfy, which is exactly what jeans and a tee shirt is supposed to be.
