That Certain Flare
You’ve probably seen me in these high waist flares quite a bit on my Instagram. That’s because they are probably my favorite piece of clothing I own at the moment. I honestly feel like I turn into my bad ass alter ego when I slip them on. They are so flattering on everyone and I really need another pair in a different wash. I highly recommend these Madewell ones but I also like the darker wash of these and these are a great price! Hope you like this week’s #3waystyle!

I love a good moto jacket and there are tons of options out there right now. This one is faux leather from last year but I’ve linked one that is just as cute. I’ve been stopping into Forever 21 lately to check out what they have and when I saw this top for only $14 I immediately grabbed it. I probably should have worn black boots instead of these caramel colored ones but I had just gotten them and was excited to wear them! Also, I really like this clutch but I’m OBSESSED with the one I linked and think I might get it in the tan color. This look was my least favorite of the three and I really want to pair this top with something else. I think the jacket and jeans were a good combo overall!
Similar Top / Jeans / Boots / Bag / Glasses
I seriously look like I’m dressing up like John Lennon in this outfit but I kind of love it. The glasses definitely put it over the top! I really liked the way this look was totally different than the other two. It was still warm in Wilmington this early October night so I opted for this muscle tank and no jacket. The thing I love about these flares is that you can dress them up or down! This look was more casual for just a few drinks downtown the hub.
Top / Jeans / Boots / Similar Belt / Lip Color
This look was my favorite out of the three. I felt like Jackie from That ’70s Show and loved it. I think because these flares have that retro feel and this top has the same vibes it worked out well (and I finally wore my new boots with something that matched!). We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant in Wilmington the night I wore this. If you are ever in Wilmy visiting I highly recommend Fork and Cork, their entire menu is just insane and so damn good (they somehow turn brussle sprouts into an indulgent appetizer). These burnt yellow and caramel colors screamed fall and I am so happy about the cooler temps coming our way, though when it goes below 65 I panic. I fell in love with this top the moment I saw it, and I also love this one as well! I think this top can work with so many outfits and I really want to pair it with a suede skirt next.
Hopefully you have enjoyed this week’s #3waystyle as much as I have. I’m telling you that anyone can look good in a pair of high waisted flares so take the risk! I never thought I would be apart of this trend but damn I barely ever take them off these days. Have a great week and stay tuned for the next #3waystyle!
